Mr & Mrs Skinner
Things I loved about this wedding:
1) Barns
2) Merry Go Rounds
3) Random Chandeliers hanging on random trees on private property
4) FERRIS WHEELS
5) Last, but not least, Romy and Ryan
Okay, okay. I know I say this about all my couples, but I love Romy and Ryan! I know you’re sitting there reading this saying, “Yeah, yeah Drew. You’re just saying that. You can’t love all of your couples that much.” But I do! I’m that lucky! I have the raddest couples… ever!
When I met up with Romy she was getting her hair done. She could tell I was excited and she said, “You saw the ferris wheel, didn’t you?”. She knows me too well! She knew I would be excited about the barn too as that’s ALL I talked about during their weekend engagement session up north at Ryan’s family’s vineyard.
Ryan and Romy were both so calm throughout the day. Everyone got ready in the same big cottage. Their bridal party, family, and friends were all such a pleasure to work with. Everyone was really there to celebrate Romy and Ryan and you could tell how much love there is for them. It was such an amazing day and I was so happy to be a part of it! And Calamigos Ranch is one of my most favorite venues to shoot at. There are so many amazing places to shoot!
Romy and Ryan – Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I have enjoyed getting to know you two so much! Enjoy Tahiti! You will love it! Here’s your slideshow!
Sit back and grab a cup of coffee because there are a lot of pictures! Just couldn’t narrow down my favorites!
Wait until you see the back of this gorgeous gown!

Gorgeous flowers by The Hidden Garden. Everyone was talking about these flowers!

First Look. Love this pic because Romy had just said very calmly, “Hello, Ryan.” And Ryan said, “Hello, Romy”. It was very cute!

Yeah for random chandeliers!

And barns!

And merry go rounds!

And last, but not least, ferris wheels!

Love this shot of Romy before the ceremony. All the commotion going on around here, but she’s so calm. Just looking out the window watching her guests arriving.

Not a bad place to get married, right? Isn’t it amazing???

After the ceremony Romy changed her “look”. She took off her veil and put on a gorgeous headband! I want this headband! I would wear it everyday. Just while doing the laundry or washing dishes. I would feel so glamorous if I had this princess headband!

Amazing father, daughter dance! And the band, Entourage, was absolutely fantastic!
These guys were not part of the band, but they did do some awesome karaoke!

wow, wow, wow! I’m not that good at leaving comments on your blog here but that doesn’t mean I don’t love all your work. I do. But I just had to come out and say these images are absolutely stunning. I can’t stop looking! Drew, you can see just how much you really enjoyed yourself through these photos-does that make sense?
Love it!
WooooW! Gorgeous!
I can’t even get over how amazing this wedding is. What an awesome location and such a beautiful couple. I know I say this every time, but I think this is my favorite wedding yet!!! Number 11 of her loooking back is breathtaking. Awesome job Drew!!
Every detail was magical including your shots~! And what a sexy couple that is!!
These are amazing Drew! I love every picture. Good job and cute couple.
OH MY GOODNESS! I must say this…I believe #11 down is the best bride shot I’ve EVER seen. I don’t know if the turn was prompted by you or not, but it comes off as being an all natural expression. I think she looks insanely goregous in that shot. The puzzled look on her face at such a time as she was obviously headed to an alternate destination is fascinating. The lighting is phenomenal and highlights her and her dress so perfectly. WOW! I really love that image. Way to go!
Just BEAUTIFUL. I don’t know what else to say. Drew, you are amazing. I want to have the beautiful, bright, colourful but somehow light & airy look your photos have. They’re always stunning.
Wow amazing wedding! And you captured it so well!
