Mr. & Mrs. Hearn

Last weekend was my only double wedding weekend of the year. I told myself that I wasn’t going to take two weddings in one weekend this year because after my experience of shooting three in one weekend last year I knew it would be too hard with a baby. But, I just couldn’t say no to either of these couples. I absolutely love both of them and I’m so glad that I decided to shoot both weddings.

The first wedding of the weekend was Janelle and David’s wedding on Friday. They were married at David’s parents A-MA-ZING home in Monarch Beach. I’ve offered up my very free house sitting services any time they are out of town :) Janelle and David are high school sweethearts and I have a soft spot for high school sweethearts since Chuck and I have been together since high school. They have a pretty amazing story, which I’m sure I’m going to totally butcher here, but I think you will get the point. Janelle’s Dad told it while he was giving his toast. The day Janelle was getting her first communion her mom got a phone call that one her close friend’s aunts had passed away. Janelle being young and not really understanding what death was asked her dad about it and her dad told her that she should pray for this woman during her communion and she would look over her for the rest of her life. Well, Janelle did pray for the woman who had passed away and it turns out many years later after David and Janelle started dating that they realized the woman was David’s Grandma. Wow. How’s that for fate? I got chills when I heard the story.

Beach weddings are so much fun! They are so relaxed and any wedding where I don’t have to wear shoes is awesome :) Janelle and David, I’ve had so much fun getting to know you both! The love you have for each other is so special and so evident.  It was so awesome to be able to capture it on your wedding day!  I hope you two are having an amazing time on  your honeymoon!  Here’s your slide show!

I’m sorry. I can’t remember her name, but the girl who caught the bouquet reads my blog so I have to give her a shout out :)
