Adios!

Adios Amigos!  I’m heading down to Puerto Vallarta for my last wedding of the year and will be out of the office until Tuesday.  I don’t think I’ll have much internet access so I’ll be answering emails when I return.

But, before I go I must blog a session that I shot on Monday because I know Ashley will be disappointed if I don’t :)

On Monday I got to do something really fun!  I got to teach another photographer!  I shot Tracy’s family session in October and after the shoot she had lots of questions, which I was totally happy to answer.  Tracy thought it would be a good idea to do a mentoring session.  I had never dreamed of doing a workshop or teaching sessions or anything like that.  I just didn’t think I had anything to teach!  But, once I started thinking about everything I could tell Tracy I had a list a couple of pages long!  So, we got together all day Monday and discussed business strategies, marketing tools, shooting and editing.  And we also did a shoot so Tracy could implement everything that we had discussed.  It was so much fun!  I had a casting call on my blog and Ashley volunteered herself and her husband, Jeff.  Ashley always leaves the sweetest comments on my blog so I knew they would be a fun couple to shoot.  Ashley’s a photographer herself!  Be sure to check out her blog.

Here are some of my favorites from the session.  You can also see Tracy’s on her blog.  I’m so proud of her because her homework was to go home and get a blog and she did it that night!  What a good student :)

If you’re interested in setting up a mentoring session with me send me an email drew@drewbphotography.com.  I will have special rates for the winter months!

And a very special thanks to my good friend Jenny B for making a gorgeous bouquet for us!  Thanks Jen!

But I’m sure you already know that! Thanks so much for posting these! They’re awesome! I found myself stalking your blog that much more often so thank you for curing my curiosity =). Have a wonderful time this weekend!

The forehead kiss picture is AH-MAZ-ING, Drew! Although Chip and I were bummed to not be the couple chosen for this teaching session, after seeing these pics and the fabulous wedding dress that Ashley is rockin’, you definitely made the right choice! I’ll miss your postings for the rest of 2008, but can’t wait to see what you do in 2009… :) Enjoy your time off!
