The Rogers Family

When Mpix asked if I’d photograph the winner of their 10th Birthday Giveaway I was a little nervous.  The winner was chosen at random and I’d have to fly to their hometown for the shoot.  What if the winner didn’t want a shoot with me?  What if they didn’t like me?  But, the chance to get to go shoot somewhere new trumped my nerves.  So off I went to photograph the Rogers family in Indiana!

I’ve never been to Indiana and it didn’t disappoint.  I kind of have an obsession with round hay bales and barns and there were plenty of those.  We shot at their families property outside of Indianapolis.  It was AMAZING!  Beautiful old barns with vines growing down the side.  A house that had part of a log cabin that is well over one hundred years old.  Tall grass and huge trees.  And just so much space to run around.  The weather could have been better, but I am thankful the rain let up just enough for us to shoot.

And I’m thankful to have had Trudy so graciously come out and assist me in case I was in need of an umbrella holder.  And to also jump on round hay bales with me :)

Thanks again, Mpix for allowing me the opportunity!  And thanks to the Rogers family for being so much fun!
