The C Family

Families come in all shapes and sizes.  And that’s what I love most about my job.  Getting the opportunity to tell their stories.

The C family live in my neighborhood.  Carie and I have become friends through our Bunko group.  When she asked me to take pictures of her and her girls I was honored.  I love being allowed into someone’s home and capturing them just being themselves.  They are my favorite sessions to shoot.

After Carie saw their sneak peek she said, “It’s amazing to see them so natural and comfortable together, like they’ve always belonged.  I just LOVE how they look together, like they were meant to be sisters forever, which I know in my heart.”

It’s true.  They were meant to be sisters.  And Carie was meant to be their mom.  You could see it in the way they giggled together.  The way they looked at one another.  And even the way they bickered.  It’s like they were never not a family.  They fit so seamlessly together.

Carie, thank you for allowing me into your home and capturing the love you, D, and P have for one another!

I LOVE this session! What a great time everyone must have had. I’m curious, is all of this natural light or did you use some lighting?
