I know. I know. I’ve been a total blog slacker this week. I don’t know if it’s the heat or if I’m just catching up on the time I lost being away this past weekend. But, I will be blogging my awesome Idaho wedding and an awesome e session soon! I promise! For now, here’s a picture of one of the reasons I’ve gotten no work done this week. Brayden has decided he doesn’t need his afternoon nap anymore. I disagree.
I am passionate. I am a mom and a wife. I am loyal. I am driven. I am a photographer… and not in that particular order. I included photographer in the “I am” list because photography is more of who I am rather than what I do. My connection to clients runs deeper than snapping shots of momentous occasions, but rather capturing the occasions that are momentous. My passion is to find those moments and document them frozen in time.
Yes, I am the photographer who will end up crying as you recite your vows and laughing as you joyously depart for your honeymoon. I’ve always felt the need to connect with my clients on a personal level to capture photos that relive the emotion of that singular moment, with the personalities that are spontaneously original and
completely unplanned.
My gift is capturing the moments that will eventually be momentous… because photography is part of who I am and not what I do.

I know the feeling! It probably is the heat because it’s been horrible! Even though your cute little one isn’t taking his naps, he’s still cute! Looking forward to the Idaho images…and the potatoes of course =).

If I was him I’d want to be up to..though if I was him I’d take advantage of being allowed to sleep 50% of the day guilt free!
Oh my! I’ve seen a face just like that all too often. Those afternoons are crazy… nothing like trying to edit photos while Jonah is not wanting to nap and decides my laptop keys are fun to bang on. They are so stinkin’ cute though which means I can’t ever really be mad! This is a photo you’ll laugh at in the days to come; nice shot!

That is the cutest baby ever born. I’m gonna miss him sooo much when we’re away.
Nana taught him how much fun it is to not take naps! OOPS
