As many of you saw my blog and my website have been down for a few days, but I’m happy to say they are both back up and running! My website company was doing a major overhaul of their server and encountered some bugs. It’s been a very frustrating couple of days, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything is now fine 
Before Christmas my good friend Kathy had a baby girl and I was lucky enough to be able to take her first pictures! Baby Kyrsten didn’t want to sleep at all! We tried EVERYTHING! I’m pretty sure her big brother Kylan told her how much fun I was and so she didn’t want to sleep and miss out on any of my funness (that’s not a word, but I just made it up!). Even in the pictures where it looks like she’s sleeping, she’s not. She was just faking it Kyrsten is absolutely adorable and even though she didn’t sleep we still got some great pictures! Congratulations Kathy, Kyle, and Kylan! She’s perfect!

Just a quick question…love looking at your blogs by the way…this one & the momtog one!! I wanted to know what you had this newborn laying on in these last few photos. Not the blanket itself, but what is underneath? I’ve tried several things with my newborn shoots and I just can’t get them to look this good. I’ve tried boppy pillows, bean bag chairs, and round folding chairs that are like pappazon chairs. Any tips?? Thank you so much!
