Baby Evangeline

Trista and I met for breakfast earlier this year.  I knew something was up because she was pretty adamant about getting together.  I had gotten my hopes up before so I was careful to not get too excited.  When she handed me a piece of paper and told me she printed something off the internet for me to see I knew my  hunch was right this time.  She was pregnant!

After I asked when she was due my next question was who was shooting her newborn pictures.  When she said I was I got scared.  Trista is a perfectionist.  And I say that in the nicest way.  I was honored out of all the photographers that she wanted me, but I was just terrified of messing up her newborn pictures.

Eventually that nervousness gave way to excitement and I was so happy to have that time to spend with Trista, Doug, and Evangeline.  She is just perfect.  She has Doug’s toes and Trista’s lips.  They love that little girl so much.  They will be the best parents.  Trista and Doug have not missed one of our baby showers or kid’s parties.  Ever.  They bring the perfect presents and have always been the best Auntie and Uncle to our kids.  They were meant to be parents and little Evie is so lucky.  I hope that I can be half the Auntie to Evie that Trista has been to Brayden and Kennedy.

These are beautiful! I love that their dogs got in on the photo session (first babies!). Also – Any chance Trista also does interior design consultations? Wow!

Drew…words can’t describe how thankful I am to you for capturing the first few days of my little girls life :-) These images are absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to share them with all of our friends and family! Our friendship through the years has meant so much to me and there isn’t another photographer in the world that could have captured our little family the way you did. We love you so much! xoxoxo
