Baby Christian

Baby Christian just happens to be the nephew of one of my very good friends.  She purchased the session as a gift for her brother and sister in law.  To all of our surprises Christian was born a whole month early!  Tina and Sam had their baby shower on Saturday and Tina started having contractions.  She went to the hospital the next day and had a pretty easy labor and delivery.  But, because Christian was so early he had to spend his first 6 days in the NICU.  I can’t imagine how hard that must have been for Tina and Sam to leave their little guy at the hospital.  But, he’s all better now and growing like a weed.  He hasn’t the cutest fur all over his shoulders and back because he’s a preemie :)  I’m pretty sure Christian is the smallest baby I’ve ever photographed.  He was just 5 pounds when he was born.

Congratulations, Sam and Tina!  He’s adorable!

    Hi there,
I just love your blog and have been following it for a while now. I wish I lived closer {Michigan}, I would book a session in a heartbeat. I am wondering about the wallpaper in the background..is that something you change during the shoot or do you use a program or something and add it later. (I am by no means a photographer, wish I was, but am not, I just am curious).
    thanks for your insight~
    Heidi
