Words can’t even express what a wonderful day today was. A day of new friends, laughter, a few tears (happy ones), and lots of fun. I can’t wait to tell you all about it. For now, here’s a sneak peek of the shoot I was honored to do for an amazing and deserving family.
I love it when my clients use their pictures for their save the dates and I love seeing the finished product. Jamie from So Divine Designs sent me the Save the Date for Jamie and Erik’s wedding. I think it just turned out so cute! Jamie always does an amazing job!
The Rosales family is expecting a new addition very soon so we did a maternity / family session! Baby Reyes is due to arrive at the end of February! We lucked out with the weather and had a gorgeous winter day. Have I mentioned how much I love families that are up for anything? Well, I do and the Rosales family was up for anything. Lying on the ground, hiking through wooded areas, climbing through spiderwebs. They did it all and with a smile on their faces. I even got injured! A stick attacked me and my finger started bleeding 
I’m okay , though. Don’t worry about me! Manuel wins the Dad of the year award for 2009 so far. He actually had fun on the shoot! Most Dads aren’t super into it, but Manuel was finding great locations to shoot and great light. I love it when my families are as excited about their shoots as I am!

I am passionate. I am a mom and a wife. I am loyal. I am driven. I am a photographer… and not in that particular order. I included photographer in the “I am” list because photography is more of who I am rather than what I do. My connection to clients runs deeper than snapping shots of momentous occasions, but rather capturing the occasions that are momentous. My passion is to find those moments and document them frozen in time.
Yes, I am the photographer who will end up crying as you recite your vows and laughing as you joyously depart for your honeymoon. I’ve always felt the need to connect with my clients on a personal level to capture photos that relive the emotion of that singular moment, with the personalities that are spontaneously original and
completely unplanned.
My gift is capturing the moments that will eventually be momentous… because photography is part of who I am and not what I do.
