Baby Lincoln

Remember this gorgeous mom?  It’s my fabulous florist friend Jenny B!  Well that cute little baby decided to arrive three weeks early!  Baby Lincoln was born on January 24 but wasn’t due until February 12, which is Brayden’s birthday and also happens to be Abraham Lincoln’s birthday.  I really like the name Lincoln and contemplated naming Brayden that when he was born on Abe’s birthday.  But, Brayden is such a Brayden.  It works out because Lincoln is such a Lincoln :)  He’s too cute!  All covered in that baby fuzz!  Here are a few of my favorites from Lincoln’s short session.  Big sis Ava came too!

Congrats Bernard family!  He’s just perfect!

I Need YOUR Help!

Hi Friends!

I need your help with two things!

First, I’m looking for models again!  Yeah!  I’m looking for couples this time and I would prefer models with wedding dress attire.  It doesn’t necessarily have to be a wedding dress, but it should be white or cream and you have to be able to play up the bridal aspect.  I need RELIABLE couples who will be there rain or shine!  Please email a picture and some information about you two.  Here are the dates:

February 28

March 7

April 11

Please email drew at drewbphotography dot com

I also need help on a new project I’m working on.  If you are a mom and have questions about how to take better pictures of your kids please email me!  If you are a photographer and have questions about how to manage a photography business and a family please email me too!  Any topic is open for discussion!  I’d love to hear from you!

And because no post is complete without a picture, here’s Brayden Bittel.  He’s been doing a lot of this lately.

Don’t really know what his problem is.  I think now that he’s almost a big one year old he’s gaining more independence and gets mad when he can’t do things by himself.  People always tell me that I have the perfect baby.  And while I agree with them about 90% of the time he does still cry and through tantrums.  Here’s your proof!

Natallie and Amar

The day of Natallie and Amar’s engagement session was the perfect California winter day.  Sunny and 83 degrees.  Love it!  Nat and Amar loved it too because they are from Vancouver.  They don’t get too many 83 degree days during the winter up there :)  Thanks to these two I spoke with a Canadian accent all weekend!  I was waiting all day for one of them to say “eh?” and Natallie finally did right at the end of the shoot.  I was so excited because I am one of the dorks who actually bought a t-shirt that said, “eh?” when I visited Canada a few years ago!  By the way, did you know that they call Bachelorette parties Stagettes in Canada?  Yeah, I didn’t either!

Natallie and Amar are getting married at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach in April.  I’m SO excited because their wedding is one of the first wedding at the venue since it was remodeled.  I’m also excited to be working with one of my favorite coordinators, Jeannie Savage from Details Details.  So, I know it’s going to be an amazing wedding!  Woohoo!

Natallie and Amar, I had so much fun with you two!  Thanks for the special homemade goodies!  That salsa is awesome!  See you in April and here’s your slide show!

*** Special thanks to my BFF, Aylin, who also happens to be one of Natallie’s childhood friends and bridesmaids, for giving Nat my information.  Miss you, friend!

Natallie and Amar first fell in love in Arizona so I know they will love the cactus in this image

Natallie’s one requirement for the location of their shoot is that there were palm trees
