I am heading over to Denver to attend the JVS Speedlight workshop. I LOVE natural light, but one of my goals this year was to expand my knowledge of off camera lighting and flash. So, I’m super excited about attending this workshop! I’m sure I’ll have pictures to share when I return!

I included photographer in the “I am” list because photography is more of who I am rather than what I do. My connection to clients runs deeper than snapping shots of momentous occasions, but rather capturing the occasions that are momentous. Yes, I am the photographer who will end up crying as you recite your vows and laughing as you joyously depart for your honeymoon. I’ve always felt the need to connect with my clients on a personal level to capture photos that relive the emotion of that singular moment, with the personalities that are spontaneously original and
completely unplanned.
My gift is capturing the moments that will eventually be momentous… because photography is part of who I am and not what I do.
