We have only spotted it a few times...but it is scary! We love to hike the property, but always carry a gun...I would hate to have to use it...but those creatures are wild... once my sister and I were jogging on their property and a pack of coyotes starting their howling in the distance and then closer...and closer...I don't think I have ever sprinted so far and fast getting back to the safety of the house...your story totally reminded me of that... glad you are all safe! My worst fear!! well one of them : ) I swear i had the same thing happen not that long ago. I found the most amazing place to shoot in the hills and my hubby and me and the girls were standing up on a little ledge looking down and there was a mountain lion walking on our trail!!!! ok freaky but it didnt jump at us!
