Heather and Justin

October 5th, 2008

Last Friday I got up early (very, very early) and headed to the happiest place on Earth for Heather and Justin’s engagement session.  I think it may have been the earliest engagement session I’ve ever shot, but how can you be tired at a place like Disneyland?

Heather and Justin met while working at the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney and they got engaged in Cinderella’s Castle at Disneyworld so Disneyland has a lot of special meaning to them.  Heather also happens to be cousins with the awesome Courtney Toney of Joyful Weddings and Events.  Courtney and I have known each other for a couple of years now, but this will be our first wedding together.  I’m so excited to finally work with her!  Heather and Justin will be married next June at the Huntington Beach Hyatt.  Can’t wait!  Thanks for the awesome time Heather and Justin!  Here’s your slideshow!

The only thing they fought about all day was who got to ride the pink pony!

I get a little dizzy looking at this picture.

Yeah.  They are laughing at me in this picture.

I don’t recommend riding on Big Thunder Mountain sideways.  It’s kind of dangerous.

Drew! I love them!!! I did a e-session at California Adventure a few weeks ago and it was way fun – but they were way pooped by the time we got to D-land (and I will have to admit..me too) ;) …. I just LOVE the shots you got though , they are beautiful!!!

So fun! It can definitely be a challenge shooting at Disney with all those people there but you did an awesome job! LOL..your shot on Big Thunder Mountain brought back memories for me..when I did that with my couple I felt really sick after we got off!

Drew….I am in LOVE with these shots! My dream proposal would be at Disneyland and for the E-session too. I’m way jealous of this couple. =) You did an incredible job capturing all the bright colors and the whimsyness of Disneyland! Oh my goodness, I love this shoot!!! One of my favorite shots is them kissing on the car in Toontown. Ah….I love this shoot!

Drew. This is fantastic.I like have shots emulate “real life” shots. Like the couple in front of the “house” or the “garage door”. So creative. So cute.
