I first met Allison when she was a bridesmaid in Krista and Erik’s wedding last September.  She’s a Trojan AND a Delta Gamma, which would make you think we wouldn’t get along, but, surprisingly, I really like her!  Allison is my third Trojan/DG bride and I’ve actually really enjoyed working with all of them!  Very nice girls.  I think that if someone would have forced me to go to USC I would have been a DG there too

Ryan is very smart.  Besides being a law student he is a Bruin!  My kind of guy right there!  Now, why is he marrying a Tojan?  I don’t know.  That would be a deal breaker for me.  But, like I said, for being a Trojan Allison is actually a pretty cool girl and she has the most amazing smile, so I see why Ryan likes her

We went back and forth with where to shoot their engagement session and Allison and Ryan finally decided on Newport.  Allison and Ryan are members of the American Legion Yacht Club in Newport Beach.  To be honest, I thought, how cool could the American Legion actually be?  This is by far one of my most favorite places to shoot… ever!  I may have to sneak back in for some more shoots.  Besides having the best burgers on the peninsula (better than In ‘N Out I hear!) it’s a hidden gem in Newport.  The light was amazing.  The couple was gorgeous and so in love.  Everything was right about this shoot.  I just love it!

I’m so excited to shoot Allison and Ryan’s wedding in September of 2010 at the Surf and Sand in Laguna Beach.  I told them that I didn’t think I could wait that long to shoot with them again so we’ll have to schedule another session before then!  Or at least get together at the American Legion for some of those yummy burgers  Here’s the slideshow!
