However, it does get hard trying to find a unique location each year! Especially now that Jen is a photographer I know that she’ll be up for getting chased by the cops anything! That makes it even more fun!

These girls are literally turning into teenagers right in front of my eyes.  They both picked out their outfits.  So stylish!

This was the first year that I really felt I captured Kendall so relaxed.  She’s always been a little hesitant and distracted in front of the camera.  She would rather talk to me and go explore rather than posing in front of the camera.  You can tell she’s really growing up!

Some weddings are very beautiful.  But, with all the over the top details you can lose site of the whole reason why you are at the wedding.  The details at Nicole and Jeremy’s wedding were also beautiful, yet personal.  You never forgot that the reason you were there was to celebrate the love between the two of them.  A close friend married the two of them.  The readings that they had weren’t your traditional readings, but had special meaning to the couple.  The toasts were heartfelt.  It was perfect.

Nicole and her bridesmaids got ready at the Hotel Erwin in Venice Beach.  The suite overlooked the boardwalk.  Totally perfect setting.

The wedding party took this super fun bus to the Smog Shoppe.  The artist who painted it happens to be a local favorite of Nicole and Jeremy’s.

Instead of a best man, Jeremy had a best person.  His sister.  He was her best person at her wedding.  Love that.

I loved this moment.  Jeremy’s hand was shaking so bad he had to steady it when Nicole put his ring on.

Happy Friday!

We rode some rides, played some games, ate some yummy food. It was good times. Love the fair!

Well, Jayden didn’t sleep quite as much as we would have liked, but with a lot of patience we were able to make it work  I think she just wanted to hang out with us and didn’t want to miss out on all of the girl talk!

I’m excited to be shooting this cute little girl two more times in the next year!  It’s so exciting to be able to watch kids grow and see how much they change!

PS  If you are interested in booking a newborn session, please do so before your baby is born!  I know that sounds funny as you don’t know exactly when your baby will be born.  But, this allows me to keep my schedule open around your due date so I can be able to fit you in.  To ensure the best newborn pictures it is important that we take the pictures as close to your baby’s birthday as possible (within the first 10 days is ideal!).

Sara and Brian had a bird theme to their wedding and I loved how all of the details tied together.  So cute!

Cameron just turned two and she is such a ball of energy! She’s adventurous and funny and I love how when she hugs she hugs with all of her little mite. She loves candy and has to have two pieces each time you give her some. Her favorite tv show is Dora and she says, “Oh, man!”. She’s going to be a great big sister!

I can’t wait to meet their little man in a little less than 7 weeks. If you ask Jill she’ll say he’s coming closer to a month! We’ll see! Here’s the slideshow!

Baby Reid is perfect!  But, what else would I expect from Ashley and Tyson?  Reid slept practically the entire time.  He let us put him on top of shelves and even outside in a basinet.  And Ashley is a labor and delivery nurse so having her there to pose Reid was so helpful.  Do you think she would quit her job and come be my assistant?  Wishful thinking!  If only all newborn sessions could be as easy as this one!

I know I’ve said it before, but it is the biggest compliment when my past brides and grooms trust me with the next important stage in their life.  It was so special to capture Ashley and Tyson with their baby boy.  They are already such amazing parents.  I can’t wait to see the little person Reid grows up to be.  He is already so, so, so loved by so many people!  Here’s the slideshow!
