You will definitely remember Krista and Erik from their awesome engagement session with their Vespas from earlier this year! I had so much fun shooting their engagement session and I just couldn’t wait for their wedding! Krista is so stylish and has such a grace about her. I knew she would look absolutely stunning in a wedding gown and I was right! As soon as I saw her dress I knew it was her. Simple, yet elegant with and the ruffles on the bottom and the back made it a little fun. Krista wore her Mom’s veil. I just loved it. I love when brides incorporate unique details into their wedding day. When Krista saw her Dad for the first time she said, “Does the veil look familiar?”. They also used the same cake topper that was on her grandparents wedding cake! How sweet is that?
Krista and Erik were married at the Newport Harbor Lutheran Church and had their reception at the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club in Newport Beach. Their wedding had a very nautical theme. From the navy blue bridesmaids dresses, to the rope on the boutonnieres, and the place cards made out of little sail boats everything reminded me of sailing on the ocean. And their band was absolutely fabulous. That Vibe played great music and kept the party going. The even let Erik come on stage and show off some of his famous Karaoke!
Krista and Erik, I hope you had a fabulous time at your wedding because I know I did! I hope you are having an amazing time on your European honeymoon! Thank you for having us and congratulations! Here is your slideshow!
I loved the back of Krista’s gown!
Her Mom’s veil
While we were taking pictures a couple drives by in this cool, little, red car. I said, “That would be cool to take pictures with!”. And a few minutes later they drive back and ask if we want to use their car. How cool is that? Thanks Darren!

I loved Erik’s boutonniere!
And I loved how all the guys wore different ties
This little flower girl was just adorable!
My favorite shot of the day!
I was surrounded by USC Delta Gammas. I was so excited to see a familiar face! One of my UCLA Tri Delta sorority sisters! Great to see you Kendra!
