Then Comes Baby

Jamie’s official maternity / family shoot is up on the blog!  I’m sure you remember the fun shoots we did earlier on in her pregnancy (you can see them here, here, and here).  Baby Liam will be making his appearance December 1st (or earlier if you ask Jamie!).  Maybe he will decide to come out on my birthday!  That would be fun!  I just think Jamie is such a gorgeous pregnant girl!  I know she’s feeling pretty uncomfortable at this point, but she is still glowing!

We shot their session at the Home Depot center, which is where the Los Angeles Galaxy play.  How did we get access you ask?  Well, Jamie’s husband Alex just happened to play on the Galaxy a few years ago.  It’s nice to have connections  Although it wasn’t the most ideal weather and we didn’t get to go on the field because of the rain we still had a ton of fun!  Now Liam just needs to hurry up and come out so I can take his newborn pictures!  I have a lot of ideas!!!  But, I don’t want to even think about their family session next year!  There will be two boys to chase after!  If Liam is anywhere as active as Aiden we will have problems!  Haha!  Here’s the slideshow!

L is for Liam

This post is LONG overdue.  I did post a sneak peek over on my DrewB Photography Facebook page (I don’t like to call it a fan club because I think that’s kind of lame), but then I went to Vegas for a wedding and life just got crazy!  Sorry, Kristi!

Kristi and I have known each other since junior high and we were even cheerleaders together in high school.  Recently she’s become my go to computer / internet expert.  She knows everything about the internet and websites and everything that’s basically a foreign language to me!  She set up the DrewB Photography and Mom*tog Facebook pages and she’s even fixing up my Mom*tog blog, which I’m super excited about!  It’s so nice to have someone you can trust to just hand over your passwords and they will fix it for you.  Thank you, Kristi!  I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate all of your hard work!

Now that Kristi is all grown up, she has an absolutely gorgeous family!  The last time I shot Sam she was probably right around Griffin’s age (maybe a little older) and didn’t like the camera so much  Now, she loves the camera and was so much fun to work with.  This time it was Mr. Griffin who was the camera shy one.  But, without a good nap that’s to be expected.  I did everything I could to get a smile out of that kid.  I think I got two out of him

I love my repeat clients.  The ones who have been with me from the beginning.  Who trusted me then and still trust me now.  They feel like family and even though I only get to see the once a year it’s just so comfortable.  None of the having to get to know each other.  It’s all about catching up on what they’ve been up to for the past year and  having fun!

The Cox family is no exception.  This is their third session with me and I always have so much fun with them.  Kylee is now in high school and has just grown into the most gorgeous young woman (I wish I had her skin when I was in high school!) and Lexee is just as funny as ever.  I could have shot them for hours, but Lexee was hungry  Natasha and Joe are planning their wedding for next Fall.  Hopefully I will get to shoot it  Thanks for hanging out and having fun!  I’ll see you next year!  Here’s your slideshow!
