First Comes Love

Continuing on with my Nor Cal adventure, I shot Ki Hyun and Andrew’s engagement session at the University of California last Sunday.  I can’t say enough good things about Ki Hyun and Andrew.  I just love them.  I think our initial consultation was close to 2 hours!  We just kept talking and talking.  They were up for anything including sneaking into the football stadium and shooting in the very quiet library.  They did their best to give me a tour of the campus, but it seems that Ki didn’t spend much time on campus during her four years there.  When we passed one of the libraries she said, “Oh, this is the library!”.  Too funny!  

We started out at the infamous Top Dog.  I didn’t partake in any hot dog eating because I’m a poultitarian, but they sure smelled good!

Then we headed up to the business school where Ki and Andrew met.

My husband tried to convince me that Cal’s bear is named Bob.  Andrew told me what his real name is, but I couldn’t remember so I just kept calling him Bob.  Maybe one of my many Cal brides can let me know what his real name is

So because there are people living in the trees outside of Cal’s football stadium the policemen wouldn’t let us in (silly hippies).  So Ki sweet talked our way in with another security guard.  He only let us in for a minute, but we got a couple of shots.  If I saw any Cal football players I was going to go and kick them in the knee, but they stayed far away from me!

After the stadium we headed to the library.  I don’t think these two spent a lot of time in the library when they were in school, but it made for some pretty pictures!

Wardrobe change!

We shot for so long that I totally lost track of time and I almost missed my flight!

Ki and Andrew, I had so much fun with you two!  It was a great idea to do your session at Cal!  I can’t wait for your May wedding!  For now, here’s your slide show!
