Baby B Maternity Session

I guess now is a good time to blog Natalie and Scott’s maternity pictures since their baby was born on Monday.  That’s how far behind I am, people!

I love working with Natalie and Scott!  I shot their wedding way back in 2008.  I have been waiting very patiently to get the news that Natalie is pregnant and was so excited when she came back to me for maternity pictures!

Natalie and Scott waited to find out what they were having and I honestly thought she was having a boy.  I was shocked to find out she was having a girl!  I can’t wait to meet baby Carrington this weekend!  I’m sure she will be just as gorgeous as her mommy!

Baby Ryan – 6 Months

When Melissa contacted me to tell me that Ryan was close to sitting up and ready for his 6 month pictures I didn’t believe her. Ryan’s newborn session was one of the last I shot before I had Kennedy and my baby girl was nowhere close to sitting up at that time. But Kennedy is also a little lazy (second child syndrome I think).

Melissa wasn’t lying. Ryan is definitely sitting, rolling over, and very close to crawling! Watch out world! He is absolutely adorable and I love his wild hair!  He’s going to be hard to keep up with at his 1 year shoot!

Baby Owen

I love seeing the confidence in moms grow.  The second time I worked with Daniell she was recovering from an emergency c-section and learning how to be a first time mom.  She was in pain, sleep deprived, and trying to figure it all out.  I could totally relate because that was my same exact situation with my son.  Laboring and then ending up with a c-section after all that hard work is no fun and it takes a lot out of you.

The third time I worked with Daniell to shoot Baby Owen’s newborn pictures she was a pro.  Confident and relaxed.  Total super mom!  She was juggling a newborn and a 20 month old and made it look easy.  And on top of that she looked absolutely beautiful!

Owen was 17 days old in these pictures because I was sick and had no voice for his first scheduled session.  He did great even for being a week older than I prefer to shoot.  I loved catching up with Hannah.  She is such a sweet girl and thought I was pretty funny.  She was impressed that I could recite Good Night Moon from heart :)

I’m absolutely loving these Lifestyle newborn sessions.  I haven’t shot one in quite some time and now I’ve shot 2 in the last few weeks.  I hope you love them as much as I do!
