Morrison Family – 2013

I think it’s appropriate to post this session on Halloween since Shelley and Josh met at a Halloween party when they were in college!

Families like the Morrison’s are why I love my job so much.  This is the third year I’ve photographed them and at our first session Logan wasn’t even sitting!

Now he’s nearly as fast as Lucas!

I’m loving all these beach shoots this year.  We have had such amazing weather this Fall.  There is nothing to complain about when it’s 80 at the beach in October!

Baby Holden

I’ve been photographing so many siblings of newborns that I photographed right before I had my daughter, Kennedy. I remember being very pregnant when shooting big brother Hendrix’s newborn session! I don’t know how I did all those newborn sessions with my big belly!

I love getting to see these babies as big siblings now. Hendrix is an incredible big brother to baby Holden. Sessions with newborns and toddlers can be a little hectic, but Hendrix was so chill. As long as he had his cars and his carrot treats he was good :) And can we talk about how amazing his hair is? These two boys are going to be heart breakers… and best friends!

The Elperin Family

This shoot wins the award for being rescheduled the most times. We’ve had this shoot on the books since last March I believe and between conflicts in both of our schedules we finally got it done!

We shot this session at the Venice Beach canals, which was a first for me. It’s beautiful there and no kids fell in the water which is a plus :) We only had one casuality in the water… poor Hannah’s necklace. Hannah went to throw it to Daniell so she could hold it and no one knew what a great arm she has. The necklace flew right past Daniell and into the canal. It was not funny, but Daniell and I could not stop laughing! That girl needs to be signed up for softball ASAP!

Thanks for the great afternoon, Elperin family! I loved getting to see how much your kids have grown!
