I’m looking for a family to model for an upcoming mentoring session on Saturday, January 9. The session will take place at 3:30pm in Fullerton, California.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
1) A fun family who can get creative with their wardrobe.
2) A family with at least one child in between the ages of 4 and 10.
3) A very RELIABLE family who will be on time and dependable.
4) A family that I have not worked with before. I love all of my clients, but I like to show my mentorees how I interact with a family I have never met before.
Here’s what I’m not looking for:
1) If you are a couple without children please do not email. I will post again when I’m looking for couples.
2) Families with adult children.
3) Families who don’t know how to have fun!
The family that is chosen will get a session with me free of charge and 10 high resolution images on a disc. If you’re interested and available please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your email must include a current picture, ages of your kids, and please tell me a little bit about you and your family. Thanks!
ETA: Thanks for all of the emails! I found my models, but will keep all of your information on file for the next time I need a family to model. Thanks!
DrewB Photography will be closed from Monday, December 21, through Monday, January 4th. I’m going to be stepping away from my computer to enjoy some quality family time. I hope you all are able to do the same! I wish you all the happiest of holidays! Thanks for making 2009 such a great year! I’ll be posting my 2009 year review after the New Year!
If you’re a frequent reader of my blog you’ve seen not one, but 3 maternity sessions for this little guy (you can see them here, here, and here). And if you’re a reader of Mom*tog you also saw his baby shower pictures. Baby Liam may be one of the most photographed babies before he even made his official appearance!
Baby Liam was born on November 30, which was one day before his scheduled c-section. He just wanted to throw everyone off! He weighed in at a whopping 8 pounds 12 ounces and 19 inches long. And he was 2 weeks early! Wow! Good thing he didn’t go full term! Brayden and I got to meet him on his one week birthday and Brayden just absolutely loves him! He’s never really been around babies before so it’s super cute to see! I stole this off of Jamie’s blog
I remember holding Liam’s big brother, Aiden, for the first time over 4 years ago and I was so scared! Little babies scare me! Even after having my own baby I’m still not very comfortable with it
Liam is really such a great baby and he’s so cute (and chunky!)! I’m so happy for Jamie, Alex, and especially Aiden! It’s so awesome to see a new life come into the world. To think of all the possibilities that await him. To imagine and dream of what he will become. I can’t wait to watch him grow and capture it all with my camera. Hopefully he will like my camera a little more than his big brother!
I’ve known Jamie since we were 6 or 7 years old. It’s crazy to think that we used to talk and dream about the things we would do when we were “grown-ups”. Well, now we are all grown up. With husbands and babies and houses. I’m so happy that we’ve reconnected and get to do it together. It’s so amazing to see someone you’ve known for so long be an amazing mother. I hope you’re proud of yourself, Jamie, because you’re doing an incredible job! I know these first couple of months are tough, but you’re such a natural. Aiden and Liam are so unbelievably lucky to have you as their mom. And I’m very lucky to have you as a friend! Here’s your slideshow!
We did one of my traditional newborn / family sessions and we also did a couture newborn session, which I am hoping to offer next year. All the images you see of Liam by himself were shot in my office / studio.
