I already went into detail about why I love this family so much here, but I will say again that I look forward to their shoots very much every year. This is the 4th year now that I’ve shot the Imus’ family session. This year was a little different because now Jennifer is a photographer too! She did a mentoring session with me this past summer and her pictures are really looking awesome! I’m so proud of her! We took the time to do a few head shots during their session as well. I was a little nervous that Ron wouldn’t like me this year because I talked Jennifer into getting a bunch of expensive toys camera equipment. However, it was the total opposite. He couldn’t be more supportive and proud of her and he’s really genuinely excited that Jen’s doing something that she’s passionate about. It was really cool to see!
Enough talking! Here’s the pictures and the slideshows!
Things I loved about this shoot:
1) Awesome, fun and stylish kids!
2) They actually listened to me and took direction! 8 and 10 are awesome ages for pictures!
3) They enjoyed getting their pictures taken!!
4) A brother and sister who really like each other!!!
I had been looking forward to Hunter and Cameron’s shoot for a long time. Their mom, Hillary, told me they were like Hansel and Gretel. Always together and they really, truly enjoy being with each other. I love working with kids of all ages, but it’s really nice to work with kids who are old enough to take direction. And not only that, but kids who also really like getting their pictures taken. I don’t know what Hillary did to make her kids so great, but I’d love for her to give me a few lessons! If I decide to have a second (which is never going to happen so don’t hold your breathe!), I would love for them to be as close as Cameron and Hunter. You can tell that Hunter is such a protective older brother. And Cameron just adores him. It was so much fun capturing their unique relationship! Here’s the slideshow!
When Brandi contacted me and told me she had not one, but two redheaded children I jumped at the chance to photograph them! I love redheads! I’m married to one and am still not totally convinced that Brayden won’t end up one too.
This family was so much fun! Sienna is a ham! Loves to be in front of the camera. She was very easy to get a smile out of, but my goal was to get some natural smiles out of her and I finally did at the end! Roman was a little more difficult to get smiling, but once I figured out how to make him happy he was a ton of fun! Such a cutie! By the way, Roman has the biggest feet I have ever seen for a 2 1/2 year old! He’s going to be a tall guy!
Thanks, Brandi and Mitch! It was so much fun getting to know you and your family! Here’s your slideshow!
