This post is LONG overdue. I did post a sneak peek over on my DrewB Photography Facebook page (I don’t like to call it a fan club because I think that’s kind of lame), but then I went to Vegas for a wedding and life just got crazy! Sorry, Kristi!
Kristi and I have known each other since junior high and we were even cheerleaders together in high school. Recently she’s become my go to computer / internet expert. She knows everything about the internet and websites and everything that’s basically a foreign language to me! She set up the DrewB Photography and Mom*tog Facebook pages and she’s even fixing up my Mom*tog blog, which I’m super excited about! It’s so nice to have someone you can trust to just hand over your passwords and they will fix it for you. Thank you, Kristi! I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate all of your hard work!
Now that Kristi is all grown up, she has an absolutely gorgeous family! The last time I shot Sam she was probably right around Griffin’s age (maybe a little older) and didn’t like the camera so much Now, she loves the camera and was so much fun to work with. This time it was Mr. Griffin who was the camera shy one. But, without a good nap that’s to be expected. I did everything I could to get a smile out of that kid. I think I got two out of him
Thanks Kristi for all that you help me with! And more importantly, thanks for being a good friend. Here’s your slideshow!
I love a perfect wedding day. Perfect couple, perfect venue, perfect Fall day, perfect vendors to help make the day run smoothly. And that’s exactly what April and Patrick’s wedding day was. Perfect. April and Patrick were married at the St. Regis Monarch Beach. With an October wedding at the beach you can never really predict if it will be 90 degrees or raining, but the weather was a perfect 78 degrees. Both the ceremony site and reception site were so intimate. I loved that. Their reception site, Club 19, was outside and when you’re getting married by the beach I love being outside and not in a ballroom. April and Patrick both looked stunning, but more importantly they were so happy. They were beaming! Michelle from Details Details was the coordinator for the wedding and I know the day will always run smoothly with Details Details on board. The amazing White Lilac did the flowers and decor. I always love to see what they come up with!
April and Patrick, congratulations! Thank you for having me shoot your wedding day! It has been so much fun getting to know you. You two are absolutely perfect for each other! I hope you two are having a fabulous European honeymoon! Can’t wait to hear all about it! Here’s your slideshow!
The blue brooch was April’s grandmother’s and April place it on her bouquet.
Love the flowers from the always amazing White Lilac
This rosary was also April’s Grandmother’s.
I just love the St. Regis. Such a plethora of places to shoot.
I caught Patrick watching football over my head. But, it’s okay because it was UCLA
The gorgeous cake was from Filigree Cakes. The detail was incredible!
They had a cookie bar with cookies from my most favorite place in the whole wide world! Diddy Riese! I’m not going to lie. I ate one. Or maybe two.
I can’t wait to blog April and Patrick’s gorgeous wedding. But, for now, here’s one of my favorites! Happy Friday!
