Wow! What a great way to start wedding season! Natallie and Amar were married this past Saturday at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. Pelican Hill just underwent a 5 year renovation and, wow, it was worth the wait! The resort is stunning and is built for weddings! From the gorgeous rotunda that overlooks the ocean to the beautiful bridal suite that is centrally located, no detail was overlooked. And the staff was so attentive and friendly. I just have nothing, but good things to say about Pelican Hill! And of course working with my most favorite coordinator ever, Jeannie from Details Details, made the day run even more seamlessly!
For those of you who didn’t see their engagement session, Natallie and Amar are from Vancouver (eh?) so this was a destination wedding for them and their guests. I was a little worried about the weather, but it turned out to be a gorgeous and sunny Southern California day for them! It goes to show what amazing people Natallie and Amar are because over 150 people came all the way from Canada for their wedding. That really says a lot!
I’ve been looking forward to Natallie and Amar’s wedding for so long not just because I love the two of them so much and I knew that the wedding was going to be amazing, but also because my best friend, Aylin, was a bridesmaid. Aylin lives in New York now so I don’t get to see her much, which makes me very sad, but it was great to get to spend the day with her. Thanks so much for referring Natallie and I to each other!
